Ammonia spike!

    For some reason my ammonia spike to .50 ppm toady. i just got a sailfin tang and a yellow angel today. i think this may have been the prob but my tank has been up for about 5 months. i already had 4 chromis and a tomato clown. the tank is a 130 approx. gallons. nothing odd has happened recently and im really freaked. do you think everything will be ok? i just did a 10 gallon water change tonight.??? HELP!

    The bacteria will catch up and the Ammonia will disappear. That's why people usually add one fish at a time. In fact, if you tested it right now, it's probably reading zero. Nitrifying bacteria reproduction rates are amazing.
