amonia help

    i just came home today and my large 6" powder blue tang which has been with my various tanks since he was like 2"and he was dead : ( i have a feeling the amonia is going to be bad (.25) is there any products like amonia detox that wont kill anything that is in my reef?

    What about Ammo-lock guys and gals. Mine says nothing about being reef-safe. It is the first thing I thought of.

    +1 on the Prime. It's what I use and it makes the ammonia (and nitrite) non-toxic.

    the solution to the pollution is dilution......do a few water changes, everyother day or so and make sure you change filter media too
