Actually, Centropyge will often cross and hybridize. Frank Beansch from Hawaii actually raised C. resplendens x C. fisheri hybrids, two species that would never meet in the wild. The key is getting one male with one or multiple females. It sounds like you may have three males.

    Hi bje,
Thanks, I was in the Military for 8 years.
I got out in 1995. If I had stayed in, I would have been retired now....Damn!

Just one of the little errors in life! :-/

    Tim,
Very nice tank and beautiful color! I noticed you have a corner tank and it is always a challenge to light such a tank. Can you describe what kind of lights you have and how you configured those lights?

    Hi Simon,
    you are right.
A corner Tank is a real challange.
The lighting as well as the streaming order.

I hab a T5 Bulb light over my Tank (6x39watt) till December.
I realized then the the Back Corner was dark and the growth was terrible (stonies).

I bought a Giesemann Infiniti HQI light.
    Giesemann Lichttechnik -

This uses a 250 Watt HQI light and 4x 24 Watt T5 Blubs.
This light is at a hight of 30cm over the Tank. Now everything is lit up well.
the HQI also has the advantage of deep penatration. My Tank is 70cm high. the 250 Watt HQI reaches the bottom of the tank, I see this in the growth of my recordeas.

I selected a HQI bulb from Coralvue:
    CoralVue Technology » Maintenance Mode
I am current using a 250 Watt 12000k HQI Bulb.
it has a Very Nice Blue ton....

for the 4x24 Watt T5 Blubs, I am using the Original Bulbs from Giesemann.
    2x 24 Watt Artinic +
    2x 24 Watt Aqua Blue +

When you Filter with active Coal (to remove the Yellow particles in the water) you'll get a real nice growth and the "WOW" factor!

    WOW Factor:
When Friends come over and look in the tank.....WOW awesome tank.

    I hope this helped.
