Has none of thesae people heard that we are in a Recession? I learned something really crazy about Gem Tangs. They are VERY plentiful and common on the West coast of Africa. The diver that bring them in get about $5-10 for a Gem Tang. There are no AIR ROUTES from West Africa to the US. Therefore they have to be driven about 600 miles, flown to Europe, have the water oxygenated and repacked shipped to New York and then to LA. The ENTIRE cost of a Gem Tang is jet fuel!

    CRAZY!

WOW! I agree, there are a lot prettier fish out there for about $5,900 cheaper! If I had a huge reef tank and a bank account to match I might go for it... just to say I had them!

Yea those clowns are not attractive at all. I wouldn't buy them even if they were like $30-$40 for the pair.

For 6000 they better clean the tank, tell you when they dont feel good and then go out and clean the house after the swim for a few hrs. Then they can make dinner for when I get home and tell me a bed time story.
