I love this tank steve. I'm a big softie/LPS fan. A reef is supposed to be moving IMO. This is going to grow in nice. Makes me anxious to start stocking my tank!

    Thank you Mike
there are a couple of acans in the 5ft taking some valuable real estate at present, I keep looking and thinking where they might fit into this set up.

    thanks insanespain
your right there plenty of movement in LPS and softies in the right flow

my water changing method - just for interest

over the last couple of months, I have been
removing 6 gallons of water from the 5ft
and 6 gallons of water from this set up

I throw all 6 gallons of water from this set up ,away
I then add 4 gallons I took from the SPS set up, and add 2 gallons of new salt water
I then add 6 gallons of new saltwater to my SPS set up

I do this because the water I discard from my SPS set up, is low nutrient, and parameter maintained and thus this action along with a very low percentage of new water, is maintaining parameters in this set up, with no additional dosing required

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Is that a huge elegance in the middle?

Very attractive scape and placement of the corals. The 2 soft finger leathers on each side look like bonsai.
