Minimum tank size for a Humu humu? try 150 gallons, and that BARE minimum.

FWIW, a hex would be OK for SH, but a std. 29 is a better footprint for a single pair of "std. size" species SH (erectus, reidi, barbouri, kuda). Contrary to popular belief, SH swim very well, and will use all of the lateral space you give them. The "tall tank" thing really only comes into play if you plan on breeding them. This allows inexperienced pairs more room to complete their coital "spins" and make a successful egg transfer.

SH are indeed "special needs" fishes, but if those needs are met, they aren't tuff to keep if you get good CB stock from a reputable breeder.

Just a quick SH blurb to get her thinking.

As I was reading through, I thought Greg or Rayjay were to "go to" people in terms of seahorses. By the time I got further in, there was one of them! :)
