i have been finding a bunch of things i cannot id lately lol...ok sooo this one looks like a tiny tiny patch of aiptasia...but not really...it actually looks like a cross between aptasia and a feather duster. they are too small to capture on my cell (and my fiance broke my camera while playing at a cornhole tourament...he has bad aim haha). i thought maybe they are some new silver xenia because there are near my xenia...but they are not the right shape and color (unless that changes as they grow?)...i have a very hard time believing the are aiptasia because my peppermint shrimp goes nuts on aitasia...but i also do not think they are feather dusters because they are tannish brown and i have never seen fd clustered so close together...does anyone have any ideas? i tried googling it but came up empty.

Boiling water will work, although I would not recommend it if they are close to any corals. If the rock can't be removed, you can entomb them with kalk paste. Just turn off your powerheads first and leave them off for a few minutes.

yea that rock cant be removed...its got 3 corals and a nem on it and weighs prob 35 pounds lol. but i did carefully squirt them with boiling water with a syringe and they popped back out after a few min but i squirted them again and its been at least an hour (maybe 2) since ive done it and they havnt come back yet so i think i may have got em good lol, but i will def try the kalk paste if i find any on smaller easily removable rocks and see how that works...thanks once again for the great advice!;D
