I have recently acquired a purple tip anemone. I'm not a fan of anemones all that much but, I am kinda saving it from a certain death. It's definitely looking better than it did with some regular spot feedings. I don't really like the idea of this anemone roaming my tank and setting up shop wherever it likes. I know that they will do this til' they find a spot that suits them. He is currently in a spot that I would prefer he stay. Any extra knowledge/knowhow would be greatly appreciated. I've also got a maroon clown that has'nt hosted this anemone but, have heard that it isn't a common match. He seems to have hosted random items in my tank like powerheads and my mushrooms.

LOL give him a little time, he might host it, he might not.....How long has it been in that one spot? If you have certain corals, it might move...mine moved away from the finger leather I just got and seems to like it's new home perched up high and under my emporer intake... That is it's second move since I bought it last year..

Try to get a sponge or pad to keep it from getting sucked into a powerhead. Good preventative measure for wandering anemones.
