Anemone always gravitates to underside of LR

    I have had a couple of anemones and they seem to almost always plant themselfs under stuff. I think it is so if there is a problem they can retract under a rock. When the anemone is ready it will come out for light. It still might be adjusting to your time schedual.

    this is a good point. Most rock dwelling anemone's will plant their foot on the understid of a rock where if there is an issue they can quickly retract to safety.

    I had a rose bulb right under a 150W HQI 14K Phoenix with T5 actinics, below is a picture:

    I flipped over the rock, well, and he did great, he had his foot in a comfortable hole and wouldn;t move, the picture below is of him when I moved the tank back home. But same rock, same location:

    I guess see if he has planted his foot, if he has, try flipping the rock over...I lucked out, that anemone will not let go of that rock, so I can put him anywhere within reason.
