i did the research but have since found out from my other half that she noticed the 6 line wrasse acting a little sick and slow moving so its possible it just got caught up in it. since then everything has been going well . my clownfish has made its home there and the cardnellfish are even getting close to it. it has moved around my tank and finally found a spot it likes and is doing very well now. AND I DID NOT JUST DUMP IT IN THE TANK!!!!!
i research all things i would like to see in my reef and if its not possible then i cross it off

I agree many people are seeing these great looking pieces at lfs and without any reserch are impulse buying and later paying the price, with lost fish and so forth.
I would encourage anyone to just wait another day befor to buy any new species for their tanks and get a second opinion from sites such as 3reef were you will get many a people with unbias opinions and testomonies of what has or has not worked for them in the past.
Sorry to hear for your loss truck

no offence taken there just that i did the research and with a 75 gallon set up and with the few fish i do have thought there would have been no problem.
also was just trying to give clownfish a good home LOL

That's kind of wierd..... My six line takes food away from the anenome. He just reaches into the tenticles and pulls the food out.... The clown then chases him down to get the food back and gives to the anenome.... Then it all starts over again with the anenome going without a meal.

    Hey truck....

I believe also your sixline probably was not healthy...

They are usually too fast and squirly to let an anemone catch them...and certainly generally smart enough to stay out of an area they do not belong.

I don't think you should let this bad experience keep you from trying another one someday.

This sounds like a case of just bad luck to me.
