I have a green bubble anemone that decided to settle in the most inaccessible spot in the whole tank in a crevica at the borrom on the back side where the skimmer is. Its almost impossible to feed it there. My maroon clown who wants to spend virtually all his (her?) time with the anemone is finding it difficult to do so too. Now, today, the anemone has completely retrated into the crevice where it hangs upside down tentacles only out a little bit. The clown followed the anemone into the crevice wherte he does/tries to do his usual thing. Feeding the anemone is now impossible. And another thing: when the anemone was still on the outside, and I tried to feed it, the clown would steal the food.

I am not sure what to do. Let nature take its course? Getting the anemone out of this impossible place would mean to break down and re-arrange the entire life rock structure and disturb all the corals.

    Any comments and/or advice?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would let nature take it's course. Moving anemones is risky business and really not worth it unless they are wandering into powerheads..........and such.

Could the clown be too large for the anemone?

If you feed small pieces of raw sea food to the anemone and introduce some mysis or such for the clown the anemone might be able to take in it enough to finish it off before the clown takes interest.

    Hi there
Well my advice is try grabbing the anemone and put in on the bottom of your tank. It will move its way up again but try to remove some flow of water that is to strong. Some anemones do not like heavy amounts of flow but love a lot of light. If you dont have much flow try feeding it when its in a spot where you want it. When I had my anemone I would do this to get it to stay where I wanted.
What will also help is a picture and the size the anemone is.

Keep me updated.. Hope this helps a bit.
