Any idea why it changed color? Is it normal to change from green to red like this?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Based on the images you started out with a bleached Anemone. The Anemone has now regained/repopulated the correct zooxanthellae.
Lighting types can greatly influence the appearance but that Anemone does appear bleached initially.

    +1, went from a 30$ anemone to a 100$ anemone. Nice buy.

Agreed. Congratulations on the recovery. Appears to have grown a bit, too.

Thanks for the replies! It didn't take long for it to change color and grow. Glad to hear this is what it should look like. Now if I can just get it to host my clown...

    LMAO!! :laugh5:

It will be up to your clown if she will be hosted. On occasion one may 'jump right in', and in some cases it doesn't happen at all. Most of the time it takes a while for the clown to warm up to the idea, usually a few weeks.

I was thinking of vinny when I wrote that. Haha
I don't have high hopes that the platinum clown will jump in. They have been in the tank together for 4 months. But just maybe I will get some OFK luck soon :)
