anemone ,clown , tiny crab question ????

last night at the LFS i got 2 black and white orcellas and a bubble tip anemone they are a paired set and were both in A anemone at the LFS, they been their 4 week or so . when i got home and started to acclimate the 2 clowns went rite into the anemone 4 the 1.5 hr i acclimated then put all into tank, i placed the anemone in a grove on top of a rock 4 optimal light then off to bed i went , this morning both the clowns were sleeping in the corner of the tank and not with their anemone ? during further review a little crab in in the middle of my anemone swinging almost like shadow boxing ,i was about to pull him out but he almost looks like he belongs ?? so my question is he not allowing my clowns to be their? is he friend or foe and if he belongs will the clowns find their way back to the anemone ??????????? long post sorry !!!!

 

Sounds like you scored a free anemone crab. They won't usually kick the clowns out; it will usually be the clowns who kick the crab out. I would just wait and see what happens.

You do not need to feed it. It will scavernge off what the anemone eats.

 

well clowns are still not going near their anemone im really bummed ,we could not separate them at the LFS! any suggestions ?
