I can see the pic....I just can't see anything there besides sand, glass and rock. maybe an arrow would do the trick. If you do determine it is an majeno anemone, nuke it out! They spread like wildfires in certain systems and will sting other corals.

I have a majano in my tank.....3 actually or at least I think that's what they are. Can't see well with the naked eye and will try to get a pick but they're fun. I like sticking brine shrimp under where they're living. I look under there later and the brine are usually stuffed half way down their mouths!!

You feed them?!!! They look kinda cool but can be dangerous to a reef. I would def stop feeding them

Ya that's it. They are a dull pink, kinda brownish in the shadows. I've looked online for hitch-hikers and everything and have never seen anything like it.

I think I have a colt coral growing too...or it may be a sponge lol... pics of that coming and a Higher Def of the mystery nem tomorrow

Most likely gonna be a sponge not a colt. I still can't really see anything in that pic. maybe some clear tentacles but thats it. Are you sure its not a majeno?

I am 80% convinced that it's a majano anemone now. Here is a pic I found on the internet that is the closest resembling of my pic. All of the majanos were either green, red, or bright pink. Mine is clear with pink tips. I was looking through my tank with a flashlight last night and saw the mouth of the anemone retract when it was shined with the light. It was all clear, not a white center like this internet pictures suggests. Does this nocturnal behavior add any clues to suggest if its a majano?

It would seem like having a strawberry anemone would be pretty cool. But I'm not a fan of something stinging my corals. Should I remove it? If so, what do you think the best method would be to do so?
