Ok so something is going on in my nano cube. My massive flower anemone is dying, and i can't figure out why. It gets plenty of light. All my corals are fine, infact, they are healthy as can be. Nothing in my tank bothers the anemone. Even the 3 or 4 aptasia i had and planned to kill are dying. all by themselves! whats the deal? anyone have an answer why the anemonies would die but the corals are fine?

If they are truly dying and not just crapping/balling up then my first guess would be lighting. Whats your lighting/params? Nems require high light and very clean water.

I would guess the same. They may look like there dying but that may just be there pooping face. Aptasia wouldnt die from lack of good lighting though. I think you should do a full series of testing on your water to see what is going on.

HAHAHAHAH.. agreed on the aptasia. They are finicky (sp?) though.
Sometimes mine would ball up and look like a brown pancake. Then sometimes would stretch out to a few inches. That is before the peppermint shrimp were introduced and then, no more aptasia!
