anemone dead?

    My BTA regurgitated half a silver side. Afterwards its mouth was fully open and sagging. Is it going to make it? Thanks

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It has a decent chance, I would not feed it such large pieces of silversides though. Large pieces are not digested quickly enough and can lead to bacterial developement and infection, which will lead to a quick demise of the anemone. Pieces cut into 1/4 are better IME.

    Take a look at this link if you have not. I would not remove the anemone currently but watch it closely.

    I would definitely not feed it such large pieces. Watch overfeeding also as it can be harmful to the anemone

    Ok thanks. I hope it makes it. I cut the silverside in half but I will cut it smaller next time. He is a pic of it just now.
