idk where you guys are getting these huge acclimation times. If there's waste in the bag (ie, it was shipped or long car ride), when you open the bag, the waste is converted to ammonia. I use the same water as my LFS (literally, I buy it from him and it's what he uses, which helps I'm sure), floated the bag for 15 minutes after 30 minutes in the bag, scooped it out and put it where I wanted in the tank. Foot grabbed hold in seconds and was able to feed it inside the hour. One of the easiest processes I've ever had. I've never had an issue with it.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I know I sound like an old broken record.

If it's not gaping, no mestenterial filments showing, still attached, and no detectable ammonia value it most likely fine.

It does not look bad to me, as tank1970 posted, just doing that weird inflate, deflate they do.

I would expect it to move around a little after introduction.

Let us know how it looks later today nightster if you get a chance.

Well its moved now, kinda in a crevice but in the same general location. Here's a picture of it, its fine, it was just poopin lol. Sorry, I think its normal for most people to freak out a lil the first time from what I've read. That's why I was trying to stay calm. Oh noticed my duncans are putting on new heads. Two are putting one on and one is putting on two on, if that makes sense. Here's a picture of both. I had to move them after my clowns started to think that the duncans wanted to host them, the duncans just stayed closed all the time.

I use 1hr standard acclimation time for all fish and inverts. All of my fish and inverts arent in the bag for more then 1hr car ride I havent lost a fish or nem yet due to improper acclimation. You have a diff situation where you use the same water as your LFS so acclimation time would be a little less.
