I have three places on one rock that has small colonies of some type of Anemone. I am sorry the camera will not get something that small. On my camera macro is a joke, well any way they are clear to white in color. Their tentacles are not smooth like other Anemones they are similiar to the polyp/tentacle on a clove polyp with fiber/tentacles coming off of the edge of the tentacles. I can not I.D. it, the closest I have came was Colonial Anemone's but their tentacles are also smooth. There are about twenty in a space smaller than the American Quarter. Should I scrub the rock or wait and see what they are? If they are Colonial will they try to dominate my tank?

That looks more like some type of filter feeding sponge to me.

They do look a lot like colonials but the tentacles seem too wispy.

It actually looks a lot like the little polyps on a kenya tree.

I know they are not aptasia and maybe not anemone at all. Kinda cool looking guys. If they get larger I will get some better pics and see what it is.

I found a new batch this morning except they are golden brown in color like a kenya, they cant be kenyas as the kenya grows a stalk then th epolyps these are just the polyps and yesterdays batch was snow white and I have yet to see a white kenya tree.
Could they be a type of Hydroid?

Looks like some polyps to me too. Are they all originating from the same spot or does each one seem to have its own "base"? How long have you had the rock they are on?
