My anemone (light purple with pink base) closed up, i thought it was eating, while it was closed it let a string of goo out now it opened up and looks like the goo is still coming out but she looks disinflated. I might take her out? Is she dying or spawning?!?!? Help fast plz

Now im not sure whether to leave her in there or pull her out. She opened up. I sucked all the goo up with a tool, but she looks weak for some reason.
I dont want my tank to go bad. Ill kill myself

Okay, take my word on this..Anemones are some of the weirdest animals in the tank so far ive seen. They look like they are going to die for a few days then they come back or they look sick and then they come back looking fine..Mine was closed up for about a week and looked awful then about 2 days ago it came back. Leave it in there, if you dont see any sign of deterioration(Spelled right?!? haha) on the nem then he will be okay.

Zoa thank you very much man real good info. Quick question, how is it that you know when anemones are harmful as in what signs or what types. I know someone who had theirs sucked up in the power head and half of their tank died. So is it like a venom inside? or something like that? i dont know any input would really finish clearing this up for me

Its not venom inside, its just their insides that are awfully bad for the tank if it dies. If your params are good and lighting is good, i wouldnt worry about it.

YOu will notice it not opening and then eventully just be inside out and if its mouth its closed for most of the time and only opening when eating or pooping then its healthy most likely..If the nems mouth is open alot then thats not good. If the anemone moves around alot and is not settling anywhere that means he is not comfortable in the tank.
