Anemone maybe?

    I was turning the cheato over in my fuge and came upon this guy just hanging out in the middle of a cheato ball. Appears to be some kind of anemone to me but not sure.

    aptasia, lucky he doesn't have his foot planted yet, just yank him out and if you see more do the same.

    Really? I was looking them up and the photos I found don't look like this at all. Are there different kinds of aiptasia?

    That's aptasia for sure i would find a nice home for it in a an american standard.

    Well this just sucks. This means I have more of them I just don't know about right? This one found a new home in the trash can. I really didn't want to have to battle aiptasia forever.

    Not neccesarily that could be the last one you see,just keep an eye out for any more and if they have a foothold somewhere just get some aptasia x or joes juice and nuke em.

    OK that was not aptasia. Sorry.

    But on the other hand I can't say what it was...I guess we'll never know! (A joke!)

    It looks different because it has not got a footing yet and hasn't opened up, but it does look like aptasia...
