Tentacles are very sticky, has taken the food I've given it yesterday. This is the first time I've seen it open a tad. Just did a test and everything checks out OK.

    Condy's are pretty darn hardy.

Condy looks great. Coralline is right, condys are super hardy so you should be fine. I had one for 4 months and it doubled in size. This with a newly set up tank too. I gave it away because it got to big. Lol

Well I looked up and the little bugger let go and was hanging by his tentacles on a rock in the middle, when I put him in originally he stayed put for a day and then was moving around the rock. I was hoping he'd do this as I recently learned they like to be on a rock that's in the sand and I have a perfect spot. Hopefully he will like the new spot.

I'd strongly advise against trying to move it- you'll only stress it and cause problems. What we think might be the "perfect spot" may actually be completely inappropriate. IMOPE, general care info is just that- a generalization. Individuals, however, can and often times do have preferences outside the "norm".

I agree that's why I let him release the foot instead of me trying to peel him off.
