Anemone poison

Hey all
do all anemone put out poison when they dye?
My purple tip Condy ended up in the koralia and was quite dead

I noticed after I pulled him out, the wTer seemed a bit cloudy
my two Tangs are breathing really heavy

I just did a 20 gallon change and my carbon is a week old

anything else I should do?

 

another 20 gallon water change tomorrow, and as much fresh carbon as possible. More fresh carbon in 48 hours.

 

Did another change this morning, so far no casualties... I also have plenty of HOB filter that I can set up with extra Carbon. Is this overkill or a good idea ?

Has anyone had loss due to a dying Anemone ??

tangs are breathing normal again

did two water changes, running two bags of carbon in the sum
p,and added two air stones in the sump for more o2

not sure I will get a replacemet, too stressfull when they die
my bubbletip still looks good

 

No, I wouldnt say overkill at all.
and yes. I lost everything but my clown pair and a couple of damsels in my 40 due to an anemone.
