Anemone Problems

    hi have this anemone (probably not for long) that seems to be getting attacked at night. i hear alot of click noises and just last night i saw something eating it. im sure its going to die :( but there is nothing i can do it is under on of my main rocks that keeps the reef from collapsing.

    Im sorry i cant get a picture because its two hard to see..

    what should i do! please help me, thanks

    Create a fish trap and put some food in it. See if you can catch the culprit.

    might have to try that, i have had a problem with clicking or popping noises in me tank for quite a while now im just getting to the point where i just want to give up

    It could be a pistol or mantis shrimp. Just cut off the top 1/4 of a water bottle, invert the top in the bottom portion so the neck is inside and attach the two pieces together.

    yeah i have one already but i might down size the trap to something like a 600ml coke bottle or something because i have caught nothing

    The click noises may not be connected with what is happening to your anemone. What other creatures (that you know of) are in your tank? Many types of starfish would attack an anemone.
