It looks to me as if it is a Bubble coral.

Thanks for the excellent advice. I recently fed it a few pieces of frozen mysis that were soaked in some vitamins and it appeared to readily take them. (That was before I even read your post!)

One thing I did notice is that I set the small nem on a piece of LR to let it attach to the rock and feel "safe" and then this morning it had moved to the base of my rock wall and has its foot buried in a small crevice between the rock and the sand. It was underneath another large rock that was blocking light from it so I relocated that rock so the nem would receive better lighting. I believe it may have moved due to the powerhead flow being directed at it. I hope this is a good sign?

One final note, the LFS that I bought it from had the little nem under PC lighting, which could account for the bleaching. It is now under a 48 in T5 on a 60 in tank (could not find any reasonable 60 in models) but I hope it receives enough light where it is now.

I will try to post some pics of the new spot later tonight.

I don't think that it is a Bubble coral because this morning it had relocated itself to a new spot in the tank and buried its foot.

The coloring is right for the Bubble as of now though!

I would let it be if it tries to escape the light again. After it was bleached under the PC's, it might just not be ready to be out under your lighting yet.

I did not even think about that it was trying to get away from the light. I just thought about the flow. If it moves again I will let it be. I just have heard stories about nems that meander into places where they receive no light and then end up getting bleached and then go downhill from there.

    Good point, thanks.
