    Hey all,

This morning I woke up to my beautiful bubble tip anemone having a huge gash out of its side and out of its mouth.

It has not moved from the same spot for months and has been steadily growing.

I do believe it is one of my monster hermits (now bannished to the sump) that has attacked it to retreive the food I gave it last night.

My question is how long will the anemone last, can it repair its self, and what can I do to help it?

    Thanks all.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Chances are good it will be fine.

You can remove them from water, place on a cutting board and chopping into quarters and they survive.

Of course good flow will help, do not attempt to move the anemone. Removing the hermits is a good move.

    Thats good to hear.

It looks pretty scarey at the moment.

    Thank you very much.
