    It could also be splitting if it stays like that for a long period of time.

    Running 300 watts of metal halides, with 72 watts PC supplements. He never stays that way for more than a few hours. I do not feed him, as when I first attempted to feed. He spit out my silver side and it cause some water quality issues, as I did not catch it til overnight. I figured I would give him a month or so to acclimate before spot feeding again, since I have seen many people successful with BTA only feeding 1 time per month. He has never un attached from his spot since day 1 of moving there, and honestly could not get more light anywhere else in the tank, less he moved higher up on the rocks.
