My BTA did the same thing so what I did is moved a small powerhead in there and directed the spoit to softly blow its current on him and he moved for me! Just make sure you dont blast him they seem to like to be just under the current of a power head or return from sump so give it shot might work! Just make sure its not blasting him

Just make sure to take it slow my rose is in a hole in the rock were you would not think the light would even hit him. I hated the spot he was in. And one day he streached his foot all the way out about almost 6 inches to get out to the light! Just remember they know when there not getting food or enough light so once he figures that out he will move im sure of it. Just take it slow watch him and one day you wont be paying attention to him and boom he will be in a diffrent spot! Prob wont be the one you want but he will move if the food and light are not right! If ya can post a pic of the hole he is in sound like he is way in there :)

    1st post =)

I had an anemone years ago and within 1 day of bringing it home it made its way to the heater and burned itself until it was dead... it was a messy cleanup lol!

Wow that does sound like a nasty mess, I still have one nem but wont be getting another coral for me much safer investment and nems seem very finky. :( love the way they look though and how they pull food in when you feed them.
