Ok so my LTA has chosen to burrow itself right in front of my bio wheel filter head. It already has a "fish safe" cover on the end, but the tentacles go right through it. I dont think i can move it as im guessing it will probably just move to find it again. Is there something i can put over it to keep the tentacles from slipping through? And how do i attach it?

It's a low suction so im not that worried (well i am, i just dont think hes going to kick the bucket tomorrow because of it); it frequently removes the tentacles itself periodically...but then they look withered, returning to normal in about 20 mins.

    Any other suggestions?

I would move him but I been there before they do go back. try putting screen around the intake with zip ties to hold it on.

i dont think i can move him since he burrowed and is not attached to something i could just move. He probably wouldn't like being dug up, lol.

I think i'll try the zip tie thing with the screen; they're not toxic to the water are they?

Easiest way to move one that wont let go is to put an ice cube against its foot. It will let loose.
Just put a simple filter sock over the intake

so my anemone lost part of a tentacle today... Hope hes ok I guess we'll see. I had bought the filter sock but its too big so i was waiting to cut it and get the zip ties. When I saw what happened today i just put the whole sock over the tube. It looks like crap but I dont really care as long as the anemone will be ok from now on. Really hope that doesn't kill it :/
