When I got home last night I found my Haitian Pink Tipped Anemone had decided to go roaming and was firmly entangled in the pickup of a powerhead. I managed to pull it off but most of it's tentacles were torn or removed. It was a shriveled mess! I thought sure it was a gonner, but decided to leave it in the tank overnight. This morning I found it had made it's way back to it's normal rock and the damage limbs were inflated! I even put a little food by it's mouth and it ate! Is there anything I should do to help it, or just watch and let nature take it's course? Should I try to trim any limbs that look obviously dead?

Is there any way to anchor an Anemone so it doen't go roaming or is that just the nature of the beast?

I would leave it alone. When I had my BTA, it dropped dead tentacles on it's own. Getting a clown for it would insure some maintenance on it, you know they rip dead tentacles and eat them.

    Just let it be.
