anemone, white in colour?

    can someone tell me if there is such an anemone as white in colour? its white in colour at the btm, and whiter at the tip. i just bought it ytd, i think the shop might be conning my money!

    maybe a bubble tip anemone orrrr or condy...but put some pics up so we can see it

    As a general rule, an anemone that is white has bleached and/or nearly starved to death and needs to be target fed. A picture would be helpful.

    yeah true that....anemones bleach when they are dyying

    I would return it...it sounds like it is bleached like mentioned above. Post pictures....

    Until then:
    1. How old is your tank
    2. What are your parems?
    3. Do you know what TYPE of anemone it is?
    4. What type of lights do you have?
    5. Sorry, got to ask...have you done any research on anemones?

    Only reason I ask is anemones are VERY VERY difficult to keep alive and should only be kept be very experienced keepers in well established tanks

    yeah dont do an anemone unless you have a oold tank
