Hey, this morning I found my bubble tup anenome at the tip of the Koralia powerhead dead, with the water a bit murky white. And then i found my naso tang lying on its side in the back still breathing. My 3 other fish seem to be fine and corals and inverts are okay.

PLEASE HELP WHAT DO I DO

yes i would quarantine any sick fish. also you need to do a major water change in your main tank where the anemone died . it usually nukes the tank when they die so time is of the essence.

personally i would take it out of the tank into a medic tank. that said i would only do that if the water really was that murky as moving the fish can cause stress in itself. why dont you do a big water change in the tank, whilst leaving the tang in there?? just a thought, maybe not an answer!!!!good luck

its a 55 gallon. and i only have 10 gallons of RO water. Should i do a 10 gallon water change and then do like a 5 gallon of tap water? and it was the anenome that got stuck in the koralia pump. 3 other fish are fine except the naso.

defintly do the 10 gallon change asap. watch it closly and if it looks like stress is still present then get some more water. i'd stay away from tap water at this tme as this could induce stress if you don't use tap on regular basis.

also if your not running carbon i'd do so asap at least for a few days to a week this will reduce any toxins in the system.
