    Hi Guys, my anenome was fine last niight- this morning it looks like its beeh hit- its mouth is all swelled up - is this normal?.

    it lookes like it might be dieing,if it starts oozing take it out before it kills your tank

    what kind of anemone are we looking at? What size? What are your lighting and water parameters and all that pertinent stuff. How did you acclimate it? Is it upside down? It might behoove you to quarintine it for while and call the lfs you got it from and ask what they think, they may have some insight from having already kept it.

    I would take it out of the tank - carefully - and flush it down the crapper.

    If you decide to try to keep it a little longer than you better watch it super closely. I mean don't leave the house for more than an hour because if it dies in your tank it will kill almost everything in there.

    That thing has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.

    hi guys,thanks for advise - he seems fine now - looks like he had blown himself up to move, weird- p.s. he ain't little - bout 7" across and width purple tip.

    Hey Man I am glad he is alive...but keep a close eye on the bugger. They move because they are not happy where they are...Next spot they find comfortable they will settle..Watch out if they hide in he caves for long time.They will usually die there..He is a bomb in your tank bro..Be careful :) Test your water param..Lower Nitrate if possible..do a small water change..
