This is the anenomie we got from petco and they sold it as a bubble tip anenomie. Started out about the size of a tennis ball.

This is what it looks like now. I think it looks more like a long tennicle anenomie. What type do you think it is?

LTA for sure- no doubt, below the anthia fish correct? You are having troubles with a wall coral too, are you not- did it come from the same place as well?

One good thing, it's getting some color back, so you are doing a good job. How old is your tank/system?

It does have much better color. Looking good, agree that it looks like a LTA.

Def. a LTA. You have also done a GREAT job in getting the color back, but just for future referance it is anemone not anemonie ;)
    Awesome coral though

What color is the column/foot? Does it have white bumps?

Corailline are you thinking Retteri (spl)? Look close at it's center.

I was ruling out Sebae, because the first image looks like a bleached Sebae, and BTA and Sebae often get sold as each other when their small by mistake. Sebae have the raised bumps on the column a unique characteristic to them.

The only way to tell is a macro shot of the oral/disk for tentacle placement or the white lines that are often seen surrounding the oral opening of BTA. Color of the column is also a good direction to go in ID.

Could very well be a LTA but I can not tell to guess from the images.
