Any reason I Anemone would hide? Mine goes from under the rocks to out on top of the rocks and back agian about every 2 days.

I have had him for about 2 weeks and he is doing the same thing, He eats and seems to be fine really dont know why he does it.

Green bubble tip is the type.

can you post a pic of "it"?

but "its" fine, "its" just trying to find a spot for "its" self. my LTA did that for about 2 week and then made its home on the other side of the tank and has been there for about a year now

Usually an anemone moving means it's unhappy. It's quite possibly it's not used to the lighting. Is your lighting more intense than the stores?

I have a baby anemone and balls up ever once in awhile (but for the most part is open)... I hope it's ok!

hard to tell I have crap lighting really but they had him in a huge tank so I dont know thier light to water ratio.

    Edit:

They had it under about 600 gallons with about 450 watts of T-5. I have 260 watts on 55 gallons of PC

Your lighting is not enough to have an anemone. I have the same lightng. If you could upgrade to a t-5 it would serve him well. PC lights like we have arent enough...sorry...How long have you had him?
