I love this thread. I would love a queen angel but I just love my corals too much.

I must be lucky, but my queen does not pick at my corals at all :)
Though I do not have much coral (only 2 hammers and a frogspawn)

Is that your regal angel?? Beautiful fish I hope to be able to own one someday but am scared of their poor track record.

Yeah that's him. Research and find one that's eating before you buy it. They're very shy. So make sure they have a lot of hiding places. That's why I was having trouble getting a good pic.

Yes that's my Regal. He has been a perfect tank mate to a bunch of tangs. I just picked up a Juv Emperor Angel on the week end.
    will post picks soon

How long have you had him he's beautiful looking. I see its a gray belly and not a Red Sea yellow belly I thought the indopacific were more difficult to get eating. Any tips to your success with such a sensative species like tank size, mates, feeding, etc? Do you keep him with corals or fish only system?

I've had him for 4 1/2 years. He first lived in my 370G tank then 2 years ago I took that down. He was in a 120G with way too many fish. But now I have a 220G up and running and he is enjoying the 6 feet again.
I've had great experience with all my fish. My oldest tang is 9 years old.
I feed mainly Nori, Mysis shrimp but occational flake and pellets but he has never touched anything but nori and mysis
