I know it is not advised on live aquaria, so this may be a dumb question. I really love the emperor angel... it is just striking to me. so...

Is there any way i could keep him in my 90 probably for long term?

and if not, what are some other bold, striking options for me?

    Thanks in advance!

Sorry an emperor angel gets WAY too big for a 90 gallon, and it says they need a 220 full size. That is even small compared to the swimming room in the ocean where these animals should never be taken from.

im sure any home the op could offer it would be better than the shipping container it sits in, who knows if he doesnt purchase one it could go to some loser thats just starting out with a 40 gallon tank thinking it can hold anything.

the fish will be taken from the ocean regardless of whether he buys it or not. to the op: i think you could easily do it in a 150-180 if it was one of the only fish in there aside from a few smaller ones.

    elaborate?

I actually have seen a good amount of people keeping them on 150G. Fully grown and with other big fish like tangs.

There are plenty of nice looking angels out there though. I personally love the flame angel fish and the Potter's angel fish.
