I am in process of putting together a new build...215 gallons...6ft long.

My current tank is primarily softies and LPS. I am fully aware that most angels cannot be in my tank because they will destory the corals, but in my new build, if I went heavy to most SPS, would my corals be safe?

I am interested in some of the larger angels like Emperor, Queen, Koran, etc.

I definitely want to add a Copperband Butterfly, but not sure on any others...or if they are possibly.

Could I do SPS and Softies and include some larger angelfish?

LPS would probably be picked on, and if one of your angel's develops a taste for it then its game over regardless of how well feed you keep him. As far as SPS goes I have a friend that is keeping an SPS tank full of angels. He has been successful at it, but you have to keep a close watch on it and be willing to lose a coral at times

Thanks, anyone else had success/failure keeping angels in an SPS reef tank or any reef tank for that matter?
