    Previous mantis was a smasher:

And yup, there will be lots of snails for the new Peacock.

Thanks for following :) Pics of the tank later today hopefully (once it gets here).

We kept a peacock for a couple of years - what ever you do to the rock work he will try to undo lol.. ours used to rearrange the tank and rocks all the time. When he would get bored we would move around some of the rocks and he would go back to work on a new den. He seemed to enjoy always being kind of busy.

We use to drop in fresh water crabs (1.99) from our lfs - they would live long enough for him to nail and disapear into his den with them.... Snails also were on his fav food list. Along with silver sides whole on the end of skewer to make it look alive and give him some "chase"

We really enjoyed ours for the time we had him. As for corals, you can do a mushroom or two but I they always are kicking up sand and even dusting with a turkey baster it was hard to keep the "dust" off the corals - also make sure you put them on the biggest rock so he doesnt move em around :)

So I took another stab and the aquascape today. I wanted to try and keep the half circle look but also accommodate for the mantis with caves and long burrows. I think I may have achieved it:

I tried to take pictures to show this, but trust me there are a series of caves created by the rock and I'm confident that the Peacock will create more as needed.
