Just assembled the loc-line and have ran into a problem. The bulkhead I purchased is messed up. The threading on the inside is ruined and thus the loc-line will not fit. This puts quite the snag in my plans.

I planned on filling the tank with water and running the pump tonight. However I'll now have to improvise and just have the water in there and no pump running till tomorrow.

    Important Question:

Is it necessary to put a mat under my tank? What will this do/help/etc?

If it is necessary, I need to go get one before water goes in.

Installed the bulkhead and loc-line this morning. Pump is hooked up and running as well. I know this thing is rated for 245gph but it doesn't seem like it is pushing out much. Maybe that is due to the Y-Split for the loc-line.

I'm getting good circulation and water is going over the overflow quite nicely. Everything is super quiet.

May have to add something for additional water movement or upgrade to a bigger return pump.

Water is clearing up but still pretty cloudy. I can see some of the rock now though

Added the last bit of rock rubble today. Avast ATO installed but not hooked up (need longer tubing for pump). New heater installed. Mp10Es Ordered!

    And....

    OMG!!!!!

    I'm super excited.

I found the perfect Mantis yesterday and had them send me pictures today!

Best part is, I can put a payment down on it for them to hold it for me til the cycle is complete!
