    Thanks! I'd highly recommend getting a mantis. They are very smart and very cool to keep.

    It looks like he has already started work on his burrow over night. The bad part, he decided to make it in the back of the tank.....

    I know there will be a series of tunnels and burrows so I'm not too worried.

    Depends on the size/species/etc.

    General rule of thumb: If it isn't glued down, the Mantis can move it. And if it is a larger mantis, it better be attached really well.

    Typically Mantis are kept by themselves. But there are some species that are more "reef safe" than others.

    peacocks are genarally fairly active little shrimps. He will eventually get to where he will come out during the day and just watch you with one of his eye stalks while watching something else with his other!

    He looks awesome!

    Because of this thread, i have decided i will be setting up a peacock tank in my office. I just got a promotion today and will for the first time in my life have my own office so once i get settled in i am going to copy you! :)
