    It was horrible when I got home. Green and brown algae were covering the glass and sand. My blue linckia starfish, mandarin goby, and 2 anglers were dead. The salinity was 1.032!!
    The third angler is missing. Sorry for the bad news.

    Friend of mine.
    I told him to feed the tank and scrub it if algae was growing. He fed them one out of 5 days I was gone.

    The weird thing is, I was just looking at your profile and then went here and saw that you answered one of my posts!

    Wow... see this is exactly what I am afraid of when I go away on vacation. I dont trust any of my friends to take care of the tank. I am guessing evaporation brought the salinity that high? I am sorry about the loss.

    Yeah, it was evaporation. I set the salinity to 1.022 before I left, because I knew it would raise, but I didn't think by 10 degrees!!
