sooo cool! I love the colors on the warty - I've never seen one so brightly colored! there are a couple on here that greg and renee' that are very into all creatures such as this. Their website (I hope is still up) is called Lionfish Lair.

Very cool. I was eyeing one of these at the LFS the other day. They are very interesting fish indeed.

Thanks everyone ..They truly are an odd creature, but very cool.
They are not any harder than any other fish IME ,ONCE you get it eating frozen from a stick ..

My warty was very stubborn however ..he was also tiny ,about the size of a nickle ,i had to feed him damsels for months before i got him on frozen shrimps ,scallops and clams.

Fishkeeper, i did used to have FO ,changed the 280 over to a developing reef and i also have 3, 30's set up.. One still has the painted the other 2 are empty but running .One was for the warty which i think i can convince the wife to get something for LOL,the other is my dedicated QT.

That pure white one is pretty slick..Would really be neat to watch him change and camouflage to the surroundings ..

My kids also love the anglers.

    Ready,don't blink!

that feeding was cool! sounds like your kids enjoy it :)

I'm really a fish lover at heart and I do really like my reef but there are times when I miss having some of the fish that you can't have in a reef. You had such a beautiful collection of fish.
