It seems like I am never happy with the flow in my tank. Right now in my 30gal I have two power heads pointing towards each other. That creates two circles below the power heads, and half a circle above them before it breaks on the surface. My question is how should I actually be doing this? And if possible, could you guys post a picture or two of how you have your power heads set up?

One on each end of the tank pointing directly at the center of the front glass should be a good starting point.

They should work well mounted on the end glass of both ends.
