Hi everyone. I was looking through pictures on my computer today and found a lot of pictures of my tank from when I first got into this hobby. The tanks been running for a little less than 2 years and I wanted to share how its come along. I have more pictures that haven't been sorted through but I think these should give you the idea. Not the coolest tank in the world, but like everyone else, I put a lot of work into it, especially trying to balance work and school. lol. This 20gallon started out as a freshwater tank for 2 little Green Terrors. As they got bigger I moved them to a new home and made the leap to SW with this tank.

*Disclaimer*: I've gone through a lot of trial and error with my tank so you will see some things that are no longer there(aka. fail). For example, I just can't seem to keep Xenias alive in my tank and failed at my first LPS. Grill me if you must but enjoy the pictures :).

Scooter Blenny. Tank was not mature enough at the time, and I spent maybe 80 dollars on tiger pods but no success.

New livestock, new equipment. (I miss how clean it is)

The huge zoa colony died off a few months after but are growing in nicely now.

Sadly, I may be moving to Norcal within a few months to finish school which means I'll be taking down the tank. But whether I set it up again will depend on how I stand financially and such. Like everyone on this forum, I love this hobby and would really miss it if I had to get out for a while. Thanks for looking!

btw. The tiny Green Terror today... He's quite the monster now ;D

Many many years ago, my dad bought a cichlid from an "assorted" cichlid tank that turned out to be a green terror. He had it in a 29 gallon with some jack dempsy's and firemouth cichlid's, well it started harassing them and killed one of the firemouth cichlids. As a responsible fish keeper, he found a griend with a 200 gallon tank full of Oscar's and red tailed catfish and the owner agreed to take the green terror. Soon enough, the green terror out grew the Oscar's and started harassing them. So, the owner called up the Shedd Aquarium in Chi-town and they agreed to take the green terror and house it with some gar's and a few giant gourami's in a 10,000 gallon aquarium! Those are some tough, tough fish!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Yeah that was interesting seeing the evolution of the tank.

Myself, I started the same way, a tank full of Damsels, and honestly I liked it. I love damsels.
