I remember the first time my very first nem closed up like that- scared me half to death, and we didn't have internet 38 years ago. lol. Next day it was bigger and more beautiful than ever. Yes it's still ok. Just get that light for it and I think it will be fine. :)

You should definitely get more lighting going for that anemone.

Target feeding for an anemone with insufficient lighting will not cut it.

Get some raw fish at the grocery store and try feeding it very small piece if it opens up again. Remove any uneaten or expelled pieces.

ik i need more lighting is there a t5 buld that will do till i can get the money for a good led system.
i only got the nem cause it was free a person i knew decided he was board and just scraped his entire 47 gallon corner tank (which i some how got) and all he was using was a 20 gallon light strip with a zoo-med light in it. when i got it it looked bad then it perked up when i put it in my tank, now that i look at it, its opening up now.

If that is a Condy anemone most T5 will be fine with decent bulbs, even PC lighting will work ( this is not true of most other anemones).
