    Thank you and thank you for your advise...hopefully it will last for a while but if not I'm not to worried since it was pretty cheap. Maybe by then there will be a better item out :)

    dumb question....for zoas to grow will they need more lighting than a stock biocubes?

    Nope! You could keep zoas anywhere in the biocube and they'll do fine. I keep my palys about half way up and they're happy.

    Beautiful set up there, love the mods you have done. Zoas should be fine at whatever level you wish to put them in the tank.

    pretty good...I have been sick with bronchitis so I haven't really done anything new with the tank.

    Levels as of today

    PH - 7.8
    Ammonia - 0
    NO2- 0
    NO3 - 0

    the only slight problem I have is A light green algae growing on the sand

    the algae on your sand will die off over time, as will 99% of all algae with the right water parameters and a good CuC. I wish algae grew in my tank still - i feel like my snails are starving
