I have 2 BC14's. One is older then the other even though I bought them at the same time. The chambers are set up differently in terms of how water flows through them. I only problems with one of them and I believe for some reason I have more evap in that one. It keeps on blowing micro bubbles in the DT, and the water level in the 3rd chamber doesn't stay where it needs to. That is why I think I am having to much evap, it really doesn't make since to me.

You are going to want to nip it in the butt now, rather than when its completely all over your sand/rock/equipment. Im just now in the last of my cyano battle. its been a headache for months!!

Mix up some sw, and do a wc either tomorrow or sunday. Try and blast the cyano you see off with a turkey baster, or a power head, or i use my net to get it off the rocks before the wc.

good luck. this stuff is a reap PIA!

yea I'm going today to get my water for a water change. Luckily its not all over my rocks yet so it will be easier to suck up. my snails are also helping i see them feeding on it all the time.

I wish my snails would :(. I have all kinds too, and they just mow around it lol. bastards.

let us know the results. If worse comes to worse, look to run some phosban or other gfo related media. it will help absorb the phosphates needed to grow that crap.
