    Bummer. I think I was trying to focus through my sunglasses which are for distance only or was looking over the top of them. Should have had my regular glasses on. Oh well. live and learn and hopefully remember.

    we had the perfect cloud pass in front of the eclipse right at the height of it! We could look straight at it and see it perfectly. Great photos, you getting excited for 2017?

    Its a date then! That will be a full solar eclipse about 6 hours north of you and 6 south of me.
