    Audi costs a small fortune to service. The cost of ownership on it will be through the roof in comparison to a Ram.

    Very true! My 01 Jetta 1.8T was a money pit. I now own a car with a full warranty.

    Keep up on your maintenance and take good care of the car and it will do just fine. In my experience I've had more issues with all of my other cars, and my German car has been the most reliable. Do the 60k maintenance, keep up on your oil changes/checking your fluids. Don't do anything electrical unless you know exactly what you're doing.
