Another cold nz tank.

    Sand, not sure. The sump has a huge 8" deep sand bed full of critters, including about 50 small native clams, both for live food and filtration.

    Never been a great sand fan, my sps tanks were all bb, but i will probably add sand after another 6 months or so.

    I don't recognize the macroalgae on the right. Do you know what species it is?

    The brown one on the right??

    a Zonaria species, probably augustata, a very nice plant, doubled in size over a couple of months.
